It was time to think about getting my own espresso maker.Like most people I started talking to friends and family.I love them all dearly,but everybody has their own opinion on what makes a good cup of coffee.To say they weren’t experts was an understatement.

So I began searching online,reading reviews,getting facts and figures.I wanted a machine that was quick,easy to use,small in size because I have a limited amount of room and it had to be convenient.More importantly I needed a machine that would make a great cup of espresso!

In walked the Nespresso  C100.The first thing that caught my attention was the size.There is not a lot of room in my kitchen for a large unit.The c100t would just squeeze in.Hey what can I say, we had to downsize our house!But it had other qualities that were worth a second and even a third look.Believe me, I shopped for quite a while before buying.

It is single serve which means there isn’t any old stuff sitting in a pot either getting cold and stale or burnt.Fresh and hot every time.The water heats up quickly and stays regulated at the correct temperature necessary for a good espresso.

The Nespresso C100 uses coffee capsules instead of loose grounds and filters.Loose grounds and drippy filters make too much mess for me.This thing actually empties the used capsules out of the machine for you and stores them until you get a chance to get rid of them.Great for when you are in a hurry like before you go to work.
